Review: ‘The One You Know’: Alice in Chains’ grunge resurgence from 2018
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my thoughts on an Alice in Chains tune that’s not fresh off the presses, yet still resonates strongly. You might recognize this gem as “The One You Know,” penned by the iconic American rock group, Alice in Chains. Known for their ’90s classics like “Man in the Box,” “Would?”, and “Rooster,” this song was unveiled on May 3, 2018, as the lead single from their sixth studio album, Rainier Fog. This release signified their comeback after a five-year gap since their previous album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here (2013), and its hit single “Hollow.”
