Zoe Kravitz Recalls Her Wild Stay at Taylor Swift’s Home Amid LA Wildfires, Reveals Her Mother’s Pet Snake Was Let Loose

Zoë Kravitz shared details about her turbulent visit to Taylor Swift’s home, during which she and her mom, Lisa Bonet, stayed at Swift’s residence for two weeks due to the LA wildfires. On Late Night with Seth Meyers, Kravitz disclosed that they brought Lisa Bonet’s pet snake as well, but it got misplaced amidst the chaos.

For several years, Kravitz and Swift have maintained a strong friendship. As they found themselves spending more time together due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their bond deepened. Notably, the director of Blink Twice was present at one of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts in London.

In my chat with Seth Meyers, I mentioned that Taylor’s home is a treasure to be preserved and maintained. Yet, during our visit, it was my mother’s pet snake that seemed to have its own ideas about hospitality! I aimed to be the considerate guest who comes and goes unnoticed, but clearly, my mother’s snake had other plans!

The actress from Big Little Lies mentioned that on what was supposed to be her departure day for work, she wished to be a thoughtful houseguest and ensure her mother’s visit seemed effortless and unplanned.

As I was preparing to leave with my belongings, my mother called out for assistance, mentioning she needed help. “Mom said, ‘I’m finding myself in a bit of a predicament; could you come upstairs?'” I recall. Upon reaching her, she was situated strangely in the bathroom corner, crouched in an unusual position.

Reflecting on the narrative, the movie star explained, “She said something like, ‘While I was washing my face, I set Orpheus (the snake’s name) aside for a moment, shut the door, and discovered a small hole where she had escaped.’

In a panic-stricken moment, I comically disclosed that my beloved pet snake had mysteriously disappeared down a tiny crevice. This predicament sent me diving into drawers, prying out tiles, and even scratching the walls in desperation as I frantically searched for it.

In the end, Swift’s phone rang with an incoming call from the actress, who said, “Hey, I’ve been meaning to talk to you.” Kravitz, knowing about her disorganized home, playfully remarked. As he recounted, “She then joked, ‘Was it because a snake almost escaped in my house and caused damage to my bathroom?’
