Yeah!: NFL announces exciting Thursday Night Football halftime show Week 4

In the early days of football, halftime was simply a break to use the restroom or grab a drink. That’s no longer the case, even for those watching from home – in fact, it’s become even more involved.

For many years, the Super Bowl has been known for its impressive halftime musical performances. However, even regular NFL games are now including major artists. A great example is Beyoncé’s performance during the Houston Texans versus Baltimore Ravens game on Christmas Day in 2024.

Hip-hop icon Lil Jon will be performing at Thursday Night Football in Week 4, when the Seattle Seahawks play the Arizona Cardinals. He’s been a major figure in hip-hop for years, and his popularity was boosted by Dave Chappelle’s famous impersonation of him.

Lil Jon hasn’t been making much new music of his own recently, however. His last studio album was Crunk Rock in 2010. He’s made a number of singles since then, but his latest was “What We On” in 2023. He hasn’t charted on the Billboard rap charts since 2014’s “Bend Ova.”

The rapper is known for putting on a great live performance, so it’s worth checking out if you can. You can watch it on Amazon Prime Video, starting at 8:15 PM Eastern Time (5:15 PM Arizona time).

I’m so excited to hear Maelyn Jarmon sing the national anthem! She won *The Voice* a few seasons back and even though she hasn’t released a full album yet, her voice is incredible. I have a feeling it’s going to be a really amazing performance.

This game between the Seahawks and Cardinals should be competitive. Both teams have strong defenses and currently have identical 2-1 records. It’s likely to be a low-scoring affair, and whoever can reach 20 points may win.

If you tune in to *Thursday Night Football* each week, you’ll likely hear the song “Let ‘Em Know” by Shaboozey. It was created exclusively for the show.
