Since Pitt married the sitcom star shortly after breaking up with Paltrow, she reportedly expressed to a friend that Pitt has poor judgment when it comes to women, as stated in her book.
The author noted the stark contrast between their childhood experiences, particularly referring to Brad Pitt’s upbringing in Missouri compared to Gwyneth Paltrow’s privileged life in Manhattan, attending the prestigious Spence School. It seemed as though she believed him to be less refined for her standards. She felt intellectually superior, better educated, and more cultured than him.
