Was Blake Lively Paid 1.75 Million USD For It Ends With Us Role? Payout For Box Office Milestones Revealed

Details of a contract related to Blake Lively’s public disagreement with Justin Baldoni have come to light. According to Us Weekly, Lively was set to earn over $1.7 million for the project. On top of her base salary, the contract also included significant bonuses tied to the film *It Ends With Us* reaching different levels of box office success, and additional payments for award nominations and wins.

In addition to a guaranteed salary of nearly $2 million, the Gossip Girl actress was set to earn 10% of the film’s total box office revenue. On top of that, she’d receive bonuses based on the film’s success. These bonuses started with a $250,000 payment once the film earned three times its production cost, with further payments expected at five times the cost and other box office milestones.

Beyond that, Lily Bloom was predicted to bring in a lot of money. An Oscar nomination would earn her $100,000, and a win would double that to $200,000 – though a win automatically included the nomination bonus. A Golden Globe nomination was worth $75,000, increasing to $100,000 with a win. There was even more potential income: a SAG nomination would bring in $50,000, and a win would be worth $75,000.

Although most of the movie was filmed in New Jersey, Blake Lively traveled to Las Vegas by private jet for some scenes. The production budget also covered the travel costs for her four children, two nannies, her assistant, and security. This included a $1,500 allowance, a private driver, and an additional $1,000 per week for training and meals.

Even though the contract looked very profitable, it turns out the copy everyone saw was just a draft and hadn’t actually been signed by Blake Lively. We don’t know the details of the final agreement, or if the actual terms were different from what was initially reported.
