For the past 25 years, the doors of atmos have been open in Japan, and during that time, it has developed strong partnerships with numerous shoe companies, solidifying its status as one of the most prominent brands in the Japanese footwear industry. Now, to mark this significant milestone, atmos is organizing atmoscon – a sneaker convention that takes place over two days – for the first time in three years.
At the upcoming atmoscon event, several exciting projects are set to be unveiled, among them a sneaker collaboration between VANDYTHEPINK, atmos, and ASICS. Last year, VANDYTHEPINK partnered with Salomon for a distinctive “Burger” colorway of the Speedcross 3, which was their first shoe release. This time around, a unique footwear creation from this trio is expected to be available for pre-order at atmoscon. Although details about the shoe are scarce, Vandy has hinted at the design’s theme by sharing a banana split GIF upon the project’s announcement.
Currently, there’s no sneak peek available from VANDYTHEPINK, atmos, or ASICS about their upcoming collaboration project. Keep an eye out for its release as it’s set to debut at the atmoscon in Tokyo on April 19 and 20.
