It’s been announced that the video game “Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2″ will hit the shelves on October 21, 2025, and it will be available for play on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The Standard version of this game will retail at $59.99 USD. In addition, Deluxe and Premium editions will be available. The Deluxe Edition offers Santa Monica Memories DLC, a cosmetic pack for protagonist Phyre’s in-game apartment. Meanwhile, the Premium Edition includes not only Santa Monica Memories DLC but also Shadows and Silk DLC, which introduces the Lasombra and Toreador families with their distinctive abilities and outfits into the game. Players can buy each expansion separately without having to choose the Premium edition to get the additional content.
Purchasing the game ahead of its release, regardless of the edition chosen, grants fans access to the Nostalgia Jukebox within their in-game residence. This device plays music created by Rik Schaffer, known for his work on the soundtrack for Bloodlines 1. The jukebox will fill the apartment with nostalgic tunes from the original game.
In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, you’ll find yourself immersed in a gritty, modern-day murder mystery set against the backdrop of Seattle. You’ll step into the shoes of Phyre, a newly awakened vampire struggling to navigate contemporary society, who begins hearing the voice of the Malkavian detective Fabien in her thoughts. As the narrative unfolds, there will be instances where you’ll control Fabien himself, making him the game’s second main character. The outcome of this action RPG’s engrossing story can change significantly based on your decisions, with up to a dozen distinct endings possible.
In other words, Bloodlines 2 marks the independent studio’s debut project following The Chinese Room regaining autonomy from Sumo Digital.
