Usher Super Bowl halftime show rumors: Who might join him on stage

It’s common knowledge that Usher was set to perform at the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show. If by chance you weren’t aware of this and happened upon this article, feel free to stay as I’ll share some additional details. Whether or not you were aware that Usher is the halftime act, you might be interested to learn who else could potentially join him on stage.

In the past week, we learned about a musical artist who will be teaming up with Usher, and that’s none other than pop sensation Alicia Keys. It’s likely they’ll collaborate on their hit song “My Boo,” which they released way back in 2004. Just a heads-up: if you weren’t feeling old before, you might be now that you know “My Boo” turns 20 this year!

Last week, TMZ caught a glimpse of Alicia Keys rehearsing with Usher, which appears to verify their collaboration for the halftime performance. It’s also likely that Alicia Keys will receive no payment for her performance at the show, just like Usher – that is, nothing at all in dollars or cents.

Who might join Usher during halftime at Super Bowl LVIII?

Apart from Keys, it seems there are only rumors and whispers about who else might take the stage. We do know that Taylor Swift will be at the game to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs. However, she won’t be performing any songs during the event, as far as we’re aware.

Ludacris and Lil Jon reside in or around Las Vegas, Nevada – the location of Super Bowl LVIII, which will take place at Allegiant Stadium. Coincidentally, they were also part of the popular song “Yeah!” released in 2004. It wouldn’t be unexpected if Usher asked them to stroll down the street for a short while to perform a song and gain visibility from over a billion viewers.

As a fervent fan here, I can’t help but speculate: Could it be that Justin Bieber, along with his pals from the Kardashian clan, are holed up in a Vegas hotel? With the Super Bowl halftime show on the horizon, could we possibly witness another electrifying performance by him too? After all, there’s a tune of his titled “Somebody to Love,” which boasts a collaboration with Usher. Given that it seems more Bieber’s track, perhaps Usher might decide to sit this one out.
