As a seasoned gamer and long-time fan of Tyler, The Creator, I can confidently say that the man never ceases to impress me with his creativity and innovative approach to music. With “St. Chroma,” he’s once again proven himself as an artist who pushes boundaries and defies expectations.
Overflowing with excitement here as I’m one of those fans who can’t get enough of Tyler, The Creator! Today, the 16th of October, he ignited the internet with his latest track titled “St. Chroma.” Within just a few hours, the music video garnered more than half a million views! It’s safe to say that this release is already burning up the charts!
In the monochrome video, Tyler is depicted guiding a band of men across the desert, much like a drill instructor. Eventually, they assemble inside a lengthy container labeled “Chromakopia.” After someone presses a button, the box suddenly detonates, and the footage transitions from black-and-white to color.
Regarding the song, Tyler adopts a hushed rapping technique, yet his lyrics remain clear and comprehensible.
Taking a moment to compose myself, I find a comfortable spot and ponder over his incredible skill. “Ease up, make some space, one dollar per wish,” I reflect aloud, marveling at the mystery of his ability. “Big surprise, no biggie, wondering how he pulls it off like that?” I inquire, still bewildered by his talent. “What’s with this attitude? Step back and let him shine,” I add, expressing my admiration for where he comes from and the unique planet he calls home.
According to the video evidence, it seems highly likely that “St. Chroma” serves as the opening track for the upcoming album titled “Chromakopia“. Regardless of whether this is the case or not, there’s widespread agreement among people about their appreciation for both the song and its accompanying visuals.
1) “This video I’ve heard 100 times non-stop,” was written in the YouTube comments.
Tyler’s last album was 2021’s Call Me If You Get Lost, which came after Igor, released in 2019.
