
Netflix has unveiled a trailer for “Cabin 10’s Woman,” an upcoming psychological thriller featuring Keira Knightley. This movie is adapted from Ruth Ware’s 2016 novel of the same title, offering a blend of suspense, intrigue, and intense sea-bound drama.
The narrative centers around Laura “Lo” Blacklock, a journalist, who’s on board a lavish cruise ship for its inaugural voyage. Despite everyone aboard appearing to be present, she has a strong suspicion that someone has been tossed overboard. The trailer hints at suspense and mystery as Lo investigates the hidden reality.

Together with Knightley, the star-studded cast features Guy Pearce, David Ajala, Art Malik, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Kaya Scodelario, David Morrissey, Daniel Ings, and Hannah Waddingham, according to Netflix and production reports. The filming was done on the Isle of Portland in Dorset, England, and also aboard the luxury yacht Savannah in September 2024.
Simon Stone directed the film, while Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse wrote the screenplay.
Initially, CBS obtained the project back in 2017, which was developed by The Gotham Group, with Hillary Seitz on board as the scriptwriter. Later, in May 2024, Netflix secured the rights, marking its official arrival on the streaming service for adaptation.
On October 10, 2025, the movie “The Woman in Cabin 10” is scheduled to make its debut on Netflix. The freshly unveiled teaser offers a sneak peek into the suspense and drama that lies ahead, as Knightley guides viewers through an intriguing narrative brimming with unexpected surprises.
