
Actor Tom Holland is gearing up for a double appearance on our screens. He’s slated to join director Christopher Nolan’s upcoming project, titled The Odyssey, and he’ll also be filming for the latest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man series.
During an interview with Agence-France Presse, the actor disclosed that he had completed work on the Matt Damon film and was now fully devoted to perfecting his superhero techniques for Spider-Man: A Fresh Start.
The English speaker highly commended Nolan’s directing, saying that the film version of the movie was “the finest script” he had ever encountered. Addressing the director as a partner, Holland asserted that Nolan always knows precisely what he aims for.

During a chat with a media outlet, Holland expressed that working with Christopher Nolan and the rest of the cast on The Odyssey set was simply outstanding. He reminisced, “It was thrilling. It was unique. I believe the film will be nothing like anything we’ve experienced before.
Additionally, he mentioned, “Collaborating with Chris and getting acquainted with Emma [Thomas] was simply marvelous. I’ve seldom encountered such dedicated individuals, and it’s clear to me why they are unquestionably the leading professionals in their field.
During our discussion, the actor also mentioned that the movie’s script was outstanding. Furthermore, Holland excitedly shared that receiving the offer to star in The Odyssey felt like a once-in-a-lifetime call – similar to getting the chance to play Spider-Man a decade ago. He expressed immense pride and enthusiasm about this opportunity.
Regarding the scheduled premieres, “The Odyssey” is set to hit the big screen on July 17, 2026, and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” will be unveiled by Marvel Studios on July 31, 2026.
