As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I must admit that I was taken aback when whispers of a spat between Robert Downey Jr. and Ryan Reynolds started circulating. But luckily, those rumors were soon squashed! Now, here’s an intriguing twist – it seems there might have been some heat on the set of Avengers: Doomsday, but this time, it’s not between Iron Man and Deadpool; instead, it involves two cast members from the upcoming Thunderbolts movie!
Wyatt Russell and David Harbour Named
Based on reports from YouTube’s Doomcock, it is claimed that a disagreement took place involving Wyatt Russell, the actor portraying John Walker/US Agent, and David Harbour, the actor playing Red Guardian.
The situation reportedly happened during filming for a Thunderbolts segment of the movie:
Things might not be as harsh as they appear. It turns out we now know their names – Wyatt Russell and David Harbour, who plays Red Guardian. As previously mentioned, it was more of a verbal altercation with a physical shove involved. That’s pretty much the extent of the incident.
The altercation is portrayed as a heated argument that eventually led to a push. According to the report, the dispute began when Russell expressed dissatisfaction over a reduced aspect of his responsibilities, to which Harbour responded with a comment that Russell found offensive.
It’s said that the disagreement stemmed from Wyatt being dissatisfied with a role allocation, and the Red Guardian made a comment that displeased him.
Reportedly Resolved
Despite the altercation causing a stir and trending online, Doomcock’s contacts suggested that the situation was exaggerated, claiming it has been resolved and any tension has dissipated since then. It is reported that the actors involved have since moved forward, with no lingering effects from the argument: there seems to be no lasting damage from their disagreement.
In case you might remember, Wyatt Russell portrays John Walker, also known as US Agent. This incident occurred during a section of the film featuring Thunderbolt.
“From what I’m hearing, things are smoothed over now between the two. So, no harm, no foul.”
Doomsday’s Growing Reputation
The narrative contributes to the series of whispers regarding issues on the set of “Avengers: Doomsday“. Although the disagreement between Russell and Harbour appears to have been minor, it further underscores an atmosphere of high stress and conflicting personalities within the production.
