Summary
- Danish fashion house FINE CHAOS has collaborated with Yu-Gi-Oh! on a Fall 2025 collection, which debuted at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
- The collection, inspired by the creative director’s childhood passion for the game, is available now at the FINE CHAOS web store.
With gaming and fashion growing more interconnected, the Japanese trading card game Yu-Gi-Oh! has stepped onto the stage (or more accurately, the catwalk) thanks to a collaboration led by Danish fashion brand FINE CHAOS. After showcasing the clothing line at Copenhagen Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 25, the collection is now available for purchase in anticipation of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 2025 World Championships held in Paris.
Rather than merely serving as a promotional tactic, this collection stemmed organically from the deep-seated enthusiasm of Creative Director Marc C. Møllerskov, who has been amassing these Yu-Gi-Oh! cards since his youth. In a statement, he expressed, “With over 62,000 cards under my belt, Yu-Gi-Oh! has been an integral part of my life since I was a child. To now be working with the very realm that fueled my creativity is both dreamlike and invigorating.” He further added, “This collaboration transcends apparel; it’s about exploring and merging realms.
At the August 8th fashion show, the collaboration between FINE CHAOS and Yu-Gi-Oh! was introduced, now accessible online. The partnership spans three years, with both parties expressing continuation. While Yu-Gi-Oh! originated as a manga by Kazuki Takahashi in 1996, its series and trading card game remain popular, particularly among millennials and Gen Z who are drawn to gaming nostalgia. A significant milestone was reached this past March when the Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL video game exceeded 80 million downloads globally.
