‘The Traitors’ Tops Peacock’s Top 10 Most-Watched Shows of the Week Again

As a big streaming fan, I’ve been checking out what Peacock has to offer, and it’s a pretty interesting mix! They’ve got those classic police shows you can always rely on, super competitive reality TV, and some really gripping new dramas. What’s cool is people are tuning into both shows they already know and love, and these original series that really pull you in with complex stories and lots of emotional moments. Looking at what’s trending this week, it’s clear Peacock is killing it with crime dramas and those reality franchises that everyone’s been talking about for ages. Whether it’s the gritty streets of Chicago or the glamorous world of Beverly Hills, these shows just keep drawing viewers in.

‘Law & Order’ (1990–)

‘Law & Order’ is a long-running crime drama that shows how the criminal justice system works in New York City. Each episode follows a case from both sides: first, the police investigation, and then the work of the prosecutors in the District Attorney’s office. Created by Dick Wolf, the show returned in 2022 after being off the air for ten years. It’s famous for basing its stories on real-life events and its memorable opening introduction.

‘Vanderpump Rules’ (2013–)

I’m totally hooked on ‘Vanderpump Rules’! It’s a reality show that basically lets you follow the lives of the people who work at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurants in West Hollywood. What keeps me coming back is all the drama – it’s a really close group of friends and coworkers, and things always seem to be happening. It’s become a huge thing, especially after everything that went down with ‘Scandoval’! You really get to see how they balance their personal lives, their careers, and all the messy relationships that come with working in restaurants.

‘Chicago Fire’ (2012–)

Chicago Fire is a thrilling drama that follows the brave firefighters, paramedics, and rescue team at Firehouse 51. The show realistically portrays the dangerous situations they face every day, as well as the personal challenges they deal with outside of work. As the first show in the popular ‘One Chicago’ universe, it highlights the strong bonds between the firefighters who work and live together. Viewers and critics alike praise the series for its authentic depiction of emergency responders and its compelling character stories.

‘Chicago P.D.’ (2014–)

‘Chicago P.D.’ is a police drama that centers on the elite Intelligence Unit of the Chicago Police Department, headed by Sergeant Hank Voight. The team tackles the city’s toughest cases, like organized crime and drug trafficking. The show delves into the difficult ethical and legal issues faced by police officers in a large city, and frequently connects with storylines from other shows in the ‘One Chicago’ franchise.

‘The Valley’ (2024–)

‘The Valley’ is a spin-off of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ that follows former cast members as they begin new chapters in their lives. The show focuses on couples who have moved to the San Fernando Valley to start families and experience a more suburban lifestyle. Despite the change in scenery, it still features the same relationship drama and social clashes fans expect from the series, but now with the added complexities of parenthood and building a home life. It explores how these friends navigate long-term relationships while dealing with the pressures of family and everyday life.

‘The Hunting Party’ (2025–)

This crime drama centers around a dedicated team of investigators tasked with finding and capturing dangerous fugitives. They specialize in tracking down high-profile criminals who’ve broken out of a top-secret prison. ‘The Hunting Party’ combines thrilling action with intricate detective work as the team solves each case. A key element of the show is the intense psychological game between those hunting and those being hunted.

‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ (1999–)

As a huge fan of police procedurals, I’ve been watching ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ for years. It’s a spin-off of the original ‘Law & Order,’ and it focuses on the detectives in the NYPD’s Special Victims Unit. Captain Olivia Benson heads up this incredible team who tackle really tough cases – primarily sexual offenses and crimes against people who are easily targeted. It’s been on for so long – one of the longest-running dramas on TV – and it’s consistently praised for handling sensitive and difficult topics with a lot of care. If you’re into this kind of show, it’s definitely a must-watch, and it’s a big draw for Peacock streaming.

‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ (2010–)

As a reality TV fan, I’m always drawn to shows like ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’ It really takes you inside the lives of these incredibly wealthy women in California – all the fancy parties, exotic trips, and, of course, the drama! What I love about this show, and why it’s so popular, is that it’s beautifully produced and has really shaped the reality TV landscape. It’s not just about the glamour, though; you also see these women dealing with personal challenges and complicated relationships, which makes it surprisingly relatable, even if their lifestyles aren’t!

‘Ponies’ (2026)

‘Ponies’ is a Cold War spy thriller starring Emilia Clarke, set in Moscow. When the husbands of two American embassy workers are killed, they become caught up in a dangerous world of espionage. The series focuses on the tense atmosphere and political secrets they uncover as they investigate a hidden conspiracy, and highlights the personal costs of living and working undercover in enemy territory.

The Traitors’ (2022–)

‘The Traitors’ is a reality competition where contestants live together in a castle and battle it out in physical and mental challenges. The twist? Some players are secretly ‘Traitors’ whose goal is to eliminate the ‘Faithful’ without getting discovered. Hosted by Alan Cumming, the show is popular because of its clever strategy and mind games. The contestants, a mix of reality TV pros and fresh faces, are all competing for a big cash prize.
