The Roots and Live Nation Urban have officially announced the lineup for Roots Picnic 2025.
The two-day event is scheduled to make a comeback at its traditional venue, The Mann in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, on May 31st and June 1st. Topping the bill is the esteemed artist D’Angelo, accompanied by The Roots, along with Lenny Kravitz and hometown hero Meek Mill. Additionally, GloRilla, Tems, Latto, Kaytranada, Jeezy, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Musiq Soulchild, Kur, Elmiene, Jagged Edge, Backyard Band with CeeLo Green, Crystal Waters, Lay Banks, Laila! and others are also on the roster. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
At Roots Picnic 2025, not only can you expect a fantastic main show, but also an exciting array of daytime events. These include Trap Karaoke, the Chill Vibes set by DJ Active, Doo-Wop…That R&B Party, Dear Summer Festival, Kirk Franklin’s Sunday School with DJ Mal-Ski, Philly Black Pride, and many more activities to enjoy throughout the day.
