The Rock’s Daughter WWE’s Ava Raine Slammed for Comments After Charlie Kirk Assassination

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter, Ava Raine, is receiving criticism for online comments she made shortly after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was killed.

What She Posted

Ava Raine, a 24-year-old WWE wrestler, recently reposted a social media post by comedian Gianmarco Soresi.

I recently saw a great tweet by Soresi that really stuck with me. It basically said if you want to be remembered fondly after you’re gone, you should make an effort to be kind while you’re still here. It’s a simple thought, but it feels profoundly true, you know? It’s a good reminder to spread a little positivity.

I saw this tweet and just had to share it! Raine really hit the nail on the head, and I completely agree with them. They said, ‘be kind, now more than ever,’ and I’m right there with them – we all need to remember that right now.

Though she didn’t say Kirk’s name, her post came just hours after he was killed in front of a large crowd at Utah Valley University, and it quickly caused a lot of anger.

Backlash Online

WWE fans quickly called out Raine’s remarks:

  • “Be kind or get assassinated?? I’m sure you’ve said something unkind I know your dad has what an idiotic statement.”
  • “@WWE @TKOGrp does TKO and WWE stand behind this?”
  • “If your ass ain’t unemployed by the end of the day this shifts to WWE itself. If TKO wants to stand behind some Nepobaby and lose customers, that’s their issue.”

Commentators felt her statements were thoughtless, came at a bad moment, and could create a negative image for WWE and its owner, TKO Group, if she didn’t clarify them.

WWE Remains Silent

Currently, WWE and TKO haven’t responded to comments made by Raine. However, the situation is gaining attention online, and many wrestling fans are calling for some kind of consequence.
