In the ’90s, the Britpop band Oasis, formed by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, might have reunited for a tour, but their ongoing disagreements remain evident as each selected different adidas SPZL models to remix. Continuing to expand their adidas partnership, they’ve unveiled special Japan-only colorways for their SPZL two-pack, set for release this month. After the Japan-exclusive launch, Oasis will perform in Tokyo on October 25 and 26.

Liam Gallagher’s Oasis x adidas Achille SPZL, initially showcased with a khaki design in August, has been expanded to include a burgundy upper option. The updated Achilles boasts black suede accents on the heel, toe box, and eyelets, creating a stark contrast against the beige stripes and heel tabs. As with the original design, the outsoles retain their signature tooth-like shape, following the zig-zag trimmed stripes. However, this time, an added contrast element on the bottom enhances visual appeal.

Following this, the Noel Gallagher’s Oasis x adidas Marathon SPZL initially debuted in a navy and sky blue color scheme, is now displayed predominantly in black with bold red highlights on the stripes and heel tab. Adopting a more streamlined design with its main suede material, the Marathon serves as a contemporary alternative to the Achille Silhouette. The textured soles have been omitted, leaving smooth white midsoles that mirror the elegance of the updated upper design.

These two unique Oasis x adidas SPZL colorways are scheduled to launch exclusively in Japan on September 24. You can find them at the adidas online store and selected retailers across Japan.
