Next year, Deion Sanders won’t be coaching his current duo of Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders at the University of Colorado Buffaloes football team, but his team will still garner significant attention. Recently, Coach Prime has continued to thrive off the field, renewing his collaboration with Nike to reissue the Air DT Max ’96 shoe last year.

The latest model in the “Falcons” color scheme has just been unveiled, and it’s now being redesigned in a new “Love Letter to Connie” style to honor Sanders’ mother Connie for Mother’s Day. This updated version of the silhouette boasts a striking blend of “University Red” and “Red Crush” colors across its tall build. Pink and white accents can be found at the different branding spots, along with the special sockliner note, while reflective details are scattered throughout the upper as well.

Currently, there’s no official word from Nike about the release date of the “Love Letter to Connie” colorway for the Air DT Max ’96 shoes. Keep an eye out for updates as it is anticipated to be launched on May 7, which is four days before Mother’s Day. The launch will reportedly take place on Nike SNKRS and some selected retailers, with a starting price of $170 USD.
