Okay, so it’s obvious this bride, now back from the dead, is out for revenge on whoever killed her – which, honestly, makes total sense. But there’s also something else going on with Franky and his girlfriend; they seem to be on their own killing spree, and we don’t know why yet. We’ll find out when the movie’s released, though! It’s really nice going in blind, without having seen a trailer for ‘The Bride‘ – it’s great that it didn’t spoil everything!
Here’s a synopsis to go along with the above clip:
In 1930s Chicago, a solitary Frankenstein, played by Bale, seeks the help of renowned scientist Dr. Euphronious (Annette Bening) to create a female companion. They successfully bring a murdered young woman back to life, giving birth to The Bride (Buckley). But their creation unleashes a series of unexpected events – including murder, possession, the rise of a rebellious cultural movement, and a passionate, dangerous love affair – far beyond what they anticipated.
