Simultaneously at Finn’s workplace, Finn and Li discussed Steffy’s trip to Hayes’ beach school. Finn grumbled about constant calls from Sheila, but Li advised him against replying. They both concluded that Sheila would never be allowed back. The talk then shifted to Luna and Poppy, her mother. Li pointed the finger at her sister for Luna’s actions, reminding Finn he wasn’t accountable for how Luna developed.
Finn pondered whether the situation would have been altered if he’d known Luna was his daughter earlier. Li shared that Luna used to be a sweet girl who admired Finn, but her relationship with Poppy had changed her for the worse. They both acknowledged that Luna had overstepped boundaries and should maintain distance from Finn’s family.
Steffy confronts Luna at Beach School
At the beachside school, Steffy accused Luna of behaving like an individual displaying psychotic tendencies by targeting both herself and Hayes. Luna defended herself, stating that she would never intentionally harm Hayes as he is her half-brother. She clarified that her intentions were solely focused on being a part of Finn’s life. However, Sheila continued to urge Luna, explaining that she couldn’t compel Steffy to accept her with a weapon.
At the cliffside residence, Taylor shared with Ridge that Sheila had unexpectedly dropped by. Meanwhile, Electra and Will were searching for Steffy. Their conversation centered around Miss Sunshine, a teacher who had given Hayes a unsettling fortune-teller prediction. Ridge grew concerned about Luna and Sheila’s potential danger, and contemplated reporting the matter to the police.
At the impasse, Steffy implored Luna to depart, allowing Miss Dylan to go free. Luna brandished her firearm as Steffy walked away. Sheila moved to halt Luna, and during the scuffle, the gun discharged. Luna’s eyes bulged in surprise as the scene concluded with a sense of anticipation.
