In everyday chats with acquaintances, it’s common to express dislike for someone else using the term “hate.” However, this term can be overly harsh and not accurately represent our feelings. Instead, we often resort to a brief, blunt expression that communicates our negative sentiment without revealing anything about the person we dislike or the complexity of our feelings. This word suggests we are capable of intense anger but fails to provide insight into why we feel this way.
