Sun Day Red Introduces the Pioneer Magnolia “Spectator” Golf Shoe

Last December, Sun Day Red, Tiger Woods’ golf lifestyle brand, unveiled its first golf shoe, the Pioneer Cypress. Although Tiger has only worn this shoe occasionally in tournaments, the story behind the brand is steadily growing—with a significant boost coming from Tiger’s son, Charlie, who has frequently sported the shoe on the AJGA junior circuit, even claiming victory recently. Additionally, Karl Vilips, an alumnus of Tiger’s alma mater Stanford University, has joined the team. As a devoted fan, I’m excited to see where this journey takes us!

Currently, Sun Day Red is innovating its design with the Pioneer Magnolia, which draws inspiration from “modern classic” aesthetics. Sharing the same base as the Cypress, the Magnolia incorporates conventional wingtip and brogue accents on its upper surface. Additionally, the latest “Spectator” color options, featuring striking white/black and white/navy combinations, exude a sharp, professional look suitable for the office environment.

Charley Hudak, Senior Creative Director at SDR, refers to Magnolia as embodying our dedication to preserving golf’s storied past and pioneering advancements in performance technology. Under the hood, it boasts an EVA foam midsole for long-lasting comfort during extended walks, a high-density TPU contact plate for stability, and two removable insoles with distinctive footbed patterns.

The Pioneer Magnolia, priced at $275 USD, is only available via Sun Day Red. It embodies Tiger’s idea of merging tradition, power, and contemporary elegance in its design.
