On Star Trek Day, which falls on September 8, 2025, we’ll be celebrating six decades of cultural impact. This grand occasion will kick off with a spectacular Rose Parade float during the New Year festivities.
Rose Parade Float
2026 marks the beginning of our celebration on New Year’s Day. This special occasion will feature a unique Star Trek float in the Rose Parade held in Pasadena, California. The design will emphasize the franchise’s core values such as hope, inclusivity, exploration, and unity. Additionally, it aims to generate excitement for the upcoming Paramount+ series titled Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
Starfleet Academy Series
In early 2026, the TV series titled “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” is set to premiere. This show focuses on a fresh group of cadets, as they form friendships and confront rivalries while undergoing rigorous training from tough instructors. The Academy Award-winning actress Holly Hunter takes on the role of the Academy’s Chancellor and Captain of the U.S.S. Athena, while Academy Award nominee Paul Giamatti portrays the antagonist for this season.
Strange New Worlds
The television series “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” concludes its third season on September 11, 2025, and has already been approved for seasons four and five to air on Paramount+.

- Star Trek: Scouts: A preschool animated series on YouTube from Nickelodeon Digital Studio. Twenty short episodes will roll out through 2026.
- Star Trek: Khan: A scripted podcast chronicling Khan’s descent on Ceti Alpha V. Naveen Andrews voices Khan, joined by Wrenn Schmidt, Sonya Cassidy, Tim Russ, and George Takei. Episodes release weekly through Nov. 3.

Star Trek: The Cruise 2026
From February 20th to the 27th, 2026, the Star Trek: The Cruise will be underway, offering fans an exciting week-long voyage at sea. Highlights of this event will include appearances by William Shatner, Walter Koenig, and over twenty other actors.
