Industry reports show the initial trailer garnered a record-breaking 718.6 million views within its first day, making it the largest movie trailer debut in history and the biggest launch of any trailer ever.

The trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day quickly became a hit, racking up 373 million views in just eight hours – surpassing the entire 24-hour view count of the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer.
The trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine broke the record previously held by Spider-Man: No Way Home, which had garnered 355.5 million views in its first 24 hours back in 2021.
That means Brand New Day did not just edge past the old record. It completely crushed it.

What makes the story even bigger is that this is not only the top movie trailer launch.
The trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI—which previously held the record with 475 million views in just 24 hours—was also shown during previews for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
So this is now the biggest trailer launch in history, period.
