The upcoming Marvel film featuring Spider-Man, titled Spider-Man: Fresh Start, has shifted its filming location. Recently, crews have been spotted at Battersea Park in London, where significant portions of the park were utilized for shots in this much-awaited superhero movie.
The park was closed to traffic during filming but has since reopened to the public.
In the new film, Tom Holland once again takes on the role of Peter Parker, following his appearance in “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” Meanwhile, Zendaya returns to portray MJ.
In a delightful turn of events, the two actors, who are now partners off-screen, will team up for another on-screen performance. The movie, helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton, famous for his work on Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is set to be their joint project next.
Under the temporary name “Blue Oasis,” filming has previously captured scenes in Glasgow, Scotland during the summer. Now, as recording continues in London, enthusiasts have caught sight of Marvel invading Battersea Park, a location anticipated to double as New York’s Central Park.
In addition to Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal portraying The Punisher, and Mark Ruffalo taking on the role of Hulk, the film’s cast also boasts Michael Mando as Scorpion and Tramell Tillman in an unspecified part. With a blend of recognizable actors and fresh talents, Marvel is positioning this movie as the kickoff for a new Spider-Man saga within the MCU.
