At Tokyo Game Show 2025, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls excited fans with a new gameplay reveal, showcasing Spider-Man and Ghost Rider battling for the first time.
The latest video shows more of the game’s 4v4 team battles and highlights some popular characters players will be excited to see.

Spider-Man Swings In
Spider-Man feels exactly like you’d imagine: quick, nimble, and focused on chaining together attacks. He swings around the arena using his webs, and can launch into a series of fast aerial combos. This makes him great for quickly attacking and retreating, or keeping opponents constantly on the defensive. The game’s animation is smooth and energetic, capturing the feel of a classic comic book with its unique art style.

Ghost Rider Brings the Fire
Robbie Reyes arrives as the Ghost Rider, driving his signature Hell Charger. He’s a close-to-mid-range fighter who uses chained attacks and powerful fire-based moves. His special attacks can fill the screen with flames, and his ultimate ability unleashes his flaming car to crush opponents, creating opportunities for his team to strike. He brings a more intense and aggressive style to the game’s lineup.

Expanded Roster and Tag System
The recent gameplay demo at TGS was the first to show off more than six of the game’s characters – a total of eight were featured. The game is played in 4v4 matches where players can switch between characters during battle. You control one character at a time, but can call in others for support or swap to a different character to change the flow of the fight and open up new attack combinations.

Stage Reveal: Savage Land
A new stage called Savage Land was revealed, featuring several transition areas and environments players can interact with. These transitions can be a key part of gameplay, requiring players to think about positioning and movement during fast-paced team fights.
