According to Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel, it seems that a live-action Miles Morales won’t be appearing for some time yet, as Sony has requested they focus elsewhere for now.
Feige Says “That Is Nowhere”
For quite a while now, certain enthusiasts have advocated for Miles Morales to make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). However, during a recent interview about the MCU, Feige clarified that as of now, no work is being done on a live-action adaptation of this Spider-Verse character.
“That is nowhere,” said Feige, when asked about Marvel’s plans for Miles, via THR.

It’s Sony’s Call
Feige emphasized that it’s not up to them, since Sony holds the movie rights for Spider-Man and any associated characters.
Sony’s amazing, outstanding Spider-Verse animated series is ongoing, so for now, it’s recommended that we keep our distance,” he stated further.
From a devoted fan’s perspective, it seems that as long as Sony keeps producing its exhilarating Spider-Verse animated series, including the upcoming third movie, Marvel appears to be keeping their hands off Miles Morales. This also suggests that the speculation about Liza Colón-Zayas playing the mother of Miles Morales in Spider-Man 4 might not hold water.
What’s Next?
The animated film titled “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse” is set to be released on June 25, 2027. Since Sony maintains the live-action rights, it appears that any possible collaboration with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man or the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been temporarily halted for now.
