Seoul Court Rules in Favor of ADOR in NewJeans Management Dispute

In the ongoing management disagreement regarding NewJeens, the Seoul Central District Court has supported ADOR, officially recognizing HYBE’s label as the band’s legitimate exclusive management company.

The court has given the company permission for a temporary order, stopping the team’s individuals from independently or through others, entering into advertising agreements without prior approval from ADOR. Additionally, ADOR made it clear that the group should now be known as “NewJeans,” not their previous name “NJZ” which they had used during their recent rebranding, and that all future entertainment-related activities can only take place with the label’s involvement.

In a public announcement, ADOR expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the court’s fair and decisive ruling in favor of issuing a preliminary injunction. This decision legally confirms our position as NewJeans’ exclusive agency, and we are now fully dedicated to providing unwavering support for their artistic journey ahead.

This weekend, we’ll be there in full force at ComplexCon, ensuring that the show carries the NewJeans name. We can’t wait to connect with the artists for a meaningful chat as soon as possible. We humbly ask for your continued support and encouragement for NewJeans, as they continue to flourish under our label ADOR.

2024 saw the K-pop band publicly declare they were leaving their record label, alleging that their staff had subjected them and their colleagues to unfair treatment.
