Sebastian Stan is heading to Gotham.
As reported by Deadline, Stan is officially in talks to join the cast of The Batman – Part II.
Warner Bros. hasn’t said which character he’ll be playing, but sources say he’ll have a significant role alongside Robert Pattinson as Batman.
Now that Scarlett Johansson is rumored to be joining the film, potentially as Harvey Dent’s wife, many believe Sebastian Stan will portray Harvey Dent, who later becomes the villain Two-Face.

Is Stan Playing Harvey Dent?
The actor Stan is reportedly being cast in a role that confirms previous rumors about Harvey Dent and his family being featured in the next movie.
There’s speculation that Scarlett Johansson might play Gilda Dent, and previously, Brad Pitt was reportedly a possibility to play Dent’s father.
Now that the foundation is set, Stan might actually play Dent, an important character in Gotham who ultimately transforms into the villain Two-Face.

A Fit For Reeves’ Gotham
Stan is celebrated for portraying complex and troubled characters. His realistic and emotionally insightful style would be perfect for showing how Harvey Dent gradually falls apart in Gotham.
I’m really intrigued by the idea of Stan being a recurring character in Matt Reeves’ Batman universe. If Reeves intends to show Harvey Dent’s descent into Two-Face gradually, Stan could be a key player throughout the entire trilogy – a long-term arc that would be fantastic to see.
What’s Next For The Batman – Part II
Matt Reeves is directing the next Batman movie, and Robert Pattinson will again play the iconic hero. The film is in the early stages of development and is currently scheduled to hit theaters on October 1, 2027.
Filming begins soon.
