As a seasoned gamer who’s seen more rap beefs than I care to count, the latest tussle between Rick Ross and Drake is a fascinating spectacle. Having grown up in the era of Eminem and Dr. Dre, I can’t help but draw parallels. The social media banter, the diss tracks, the interviews – it feels like stepping into a time machine.
On Thursday, the 12th of September, Rick Ross’ extensive discussion on Yung Miami’s podcast titled “Caresha Please” was released, where Ross delved deeply into his ongoing feud with Drake.
As someone who has been a fan of both Drake and Rick Ross for years, I must say that this year has been quite intriguing for their relationship. It all started with subtle jabs in their songs like “Push Ups” and “Family Matters” from Drake, and “Champagne Moments” from Ross. The beef between the two rappers was sparked during a recent interview when Miami asked Rick Ross if it’s a real-life conflict or just a business disagreement, which began at the 21:49 mark.
Ross replied, ‘No, I’d rather not label it as a business matter.’ He specifically used my name, which is inappropriate. It’s even more so when it doesn’t concern any genuine issue.
Initially, the rapper known as Rather You Than Me discussed the social media exchanges he and Drizzy had earlier this year. There was a period when Ross consistently jabbed at Drake, alleging that he has fake abs, underwent a nose job, and received a BBL. Moreover, in March, Ross recorded himself listening to Kendrick Lamar’s track “Like That,” which marked the first significant diss from the Compton artist towards Drake.

Ross mentioned that he finds pleasure in starting each day by saying phrases like ‘BBL Drizzy’ or similar things while smoking a joint, listening to the sound of waterfalls and watching birds fly, as quoted in Miami. He explained, ‘That’s simple for me, but is everyone equipped to handle this?’
Additionally, Ross strongly feels that Drake underwent plastic surgery on his nose and rear end, as suggested by their conversation in Miami. Moreover, he discussed the prospect of reconciling with Drake, the Canadian rapper. When asked about the possibility of resolving their issues, Ross responded, “It depends on how I feel.
The hip-hop artist with a beard discussed an altercation that took place in Vancouver this year during the Ignite Music Festival, instigated when his DJ played Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss track. Ross believes the outcome would have been different if his usual companions had been there alongside him.
He clarified that the friends who journeyed with him were unable to attend due to their criminal records. If only two or three more of his companions had been there, he asserted, they would have disarmed and left those individuals in their undergarments.
