I saw Quentin Tarantino last night at the premiere of his wife Daniella Pick’s new movie, The Perfect Gamble! It was so cool to see them together – they don’t often make public appearances as a couple. The premiere was the first U.S. screening and it was held at Harmony Gold on Sunset Boulevard.
Quentin Tarantino, 62, embraced actress Yael Pick, 41, as they arrived at the event, publicly showing his support. Pick, wearing a red gown with an open back, was there to promote her new thriller film with her husband. The movie features Pick alongside David Arquette, Eli Danker, and director Danny Abeckaser, and was filmed in both Israel and Georgia.
Quentin Tarantino and Daniella Pick initially connected in 2009 while Tarantino was in Israel promoting his film, Inglourious Basterds. They wed nine years later at Tarantino’s home in Beverly Hills and now have two children: a five-year-old son named Leo, and a daughter born in July 2022. A representative confirmed the birth to PEOPLE magazine, announcing that Daniella gave birth to their daughter on July 2nd, 2022, making Leo a big brother.
Quentin Tarantino attended the Los Angeles premiere of his wife Daniella Pick’s new thriller, “The Perfect Gamble,” and hinted that he isn’t planning to start work on his tenth and final movie anytime soon.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Quentin Tarantino shared the story behind his son’s name. He said they almost chose a different name because people would likely assume it was a reference to Leonardo DiCaprio. While there’s nothing wrong with that, the name actually honors his wife’s grandfather. They also felt the name suited their son, as they affectionately thought of him as their ‘little lion.’
Quentin Tarantino has mentioned wanting to retire after directing his tenth movie, but he hasn’t revealed what that film will be. He playfully suggested a sequel to Kill Bill was possible when asked about it. At the 2022 Rome Film Festival, where he received a lifetime achievement award, he admitted he still doesn’t know what his final project will be.
Seeing the couple together on the red carpet was unusual, and it offered a more intimate look at the director, who is typically known for his work on films.
