This upcoming science fiction film, titled “Prey” by director Dan Trachtenberg, has garnered attention due to his previous works, will be premiering in theaters this coming November.

What to expect from Predator: Badlands? 

By the year’s end, a film is scheduled for release featuring Fanning in the role of a field unit robot. This robot will be dispatched to an extremely perilous alien world, tasked with tracking and capturing an elusive predator creature that supposedly cannot be destroyed.

Badlands” features Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. The story unfolds on a distant planet in the future, where a young Predator, shunned by his tribe, encounters an unusual friend in Thia (Fanning). Together, they embark on a perilous quest to locate their most formidable enemy.

Simultaneously, Predator: Badlands marks the ninth installment in the series, with the initial film hitting screens back in 1987. The team behind this new movie includes Tratchenberg, joined by John Davis, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, and Brent O’Connor.

This year, the eighth part of the franchise was released, and it was directed by the same director who is now sitting in the director’s chair for the latest movie.

The last movie we watched tells a trio of tales about history’s most formidable warriors. We follow a Viking warrior mother leading her son on a vengeful journey marked by bloodshed, a ninja in feudal Japan who betrays his Samurai brother amidst a ruthless fight for power, and a WWII pilot probing otherworldly dangers threatening the Allies’ cause.

Predator: Badlands will hit theaters on November 7, 2025.
