Porsche has revealed the 911 Spirit 70, an exclusive convertible, at the Shanghai Auto Show. This model is a homage to the daring designs of the ’70s and early ’80s and will only be produced in 1,500 pieces. It’s based on the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, featuring a hybrid-enhanced 3.6L boxer engine that generates 541 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.
The car has been freshly painted Olive Neo and adorned with Bronzite accents, accompanied by a sleek black soft top. It boasts a vintage feel with glossy black racing stripes reminiscent of 1963 Porsche, the iconic crest from that era, and gold-plated emblems. Inside, the cabin is furnished in a contemporary take on the Pasha pattern (a tribute to one of Porsche’s most recognized interiors), set against club leather in basalt black with contrasting stitches.
The digital instrument panel imitates traditional analog dials, featuring green numbers and white pointers, accompanied by a compatible chronograph and fashion accessory line that emphasizes the vintage aesthetic. Customers have the opportunity to customize their vehicle extensively through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, and they can even experiment with their preferred configuration using an exclusive app designed for Apple Vision Pro.
The 911 Spirit 70 represents Porsche’s third vehicle in their Heritage Design line, combining modern performance with classic aesthetics. Deliveries in Europe will commence in April 2025, with additional regions following suit afterwards.
