The news emerged through Carti’s collaborator F1LTHY on platform X, in response to a fan’s tweet speculating that BABY BOI might be discarded and renamed. The producer quelled doubts by saying, “The album is already completed. Just watch this.
No additional details about the album were revealed.
Earlier, Carti announced that he plans to release the song titled “BABY BOI” this year. He allegedly made this statement through Kurrco with the phrase “WE’RE PUSHING BBY BOI / I’M ON ONE THIS YEAR,” and in March, he mentioned having “another track ready.
His newest album titled “MUSIC” was released in mid-March, signifying his first solo project in more than four years. This upcoming album was initially teased in early 2021 and underwent several name changes as it was being produced. The album made its debut at the top spot and included collaborations with artists such as Travis Scott, the Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Jhené Aiko, Skepta, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla Sign, and Young Thug.
