The collection of classic GameCube games for the Nintendo Switch 2 has developed at a more leisurely pace compared to other libraries, possibly due to the inherent complexity of GameCube games versus their NES or SNES counterparts.
It’s been confirmed that Nintendo is adding another classic GameCube game, Chibi-Robo, to its collection on August 21, 2025.
Greetings! Get ready to meet Chibi-Robo, who embarks on a mission to bring order to the Sanderson household and save the world. This exciting adventure is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch as part of the Nintendo Classics collection for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers on August 21st!

This distinctive game, with its engaging playstyle, quickly became a favorite among many, and it’s continued to be cherished as a timeless classic. Therefore, it’s not unexpected that Nintendo included it in their collection of classic titles from the outset.
These games – The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, F-Zero GX, Super Mario Strikers, and SoulCalibur 2 – are now part of the collection that you can obtain by subscribing to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass, a yearly subscription priced at $49.99. This pass also provides access to other classic collections like those from Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, and Sega Mega Drive.
