Paradox announces Surviving Mars: Relaunched for PC, PS5, and Xbox

These developers, Paradox Interactive and Haemimont Games, have unveiled a revamped edition titled Surviving Mars: Refreshed, which is now available on Personal Computers (PC), PlayStation 5 (PS5), and the Xbox Series X|S.

As an enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that we’re bringing back a polished edition of the city-building masterpiece our studio launched in 2018! This updated version promises improved visuals, a sleeker user interface, and novel elements like government mechanics – features that weren’t part of the original game. I can hardly wait to dive into this revamped cityscape!

Further, the relaunch edition of Surviving Mars includes all downloadable content released after its launch, giving those who already own the base game an opportunity to upgrade at a reduced price, should they choose to do so.

The relaunch is set to hit stores at an estimated price of $39.99 USD. For those who played the original game on the same platform, a generous discount of $20 will be applied.

The re-launch of Surviving Mars will include modding resources and support for mods across all platforms. Currently, there’s no confirmed release date for the game, but Paradox Interactive has hinted that it will be coming out shortly.

Earlier this year, Paradox Interactive completed their acquisition of Haemimont Games without revealing the purchase cost. The first game to emerge from the newly acquired studio will be a re-launch of Surviving Mars.
