Pamela Anderson recently shared a difficult experience she had at the 2026 Golden Globes. She explained that seeing Seth Rogen there reminded her of painful memories related to the Hulu show ‘Pam & Tommy’.
Anderson recently told Andy Cohen that she quickly left an awards show after presenting an award, going straight back to her hotel room to go to bed. She explained that seeing Seth Rogen, who was involved in the TV series Pam & Tommy – a show she didn’t approve of and which still bothers her – influenced her decision to leave.
She expressed to Cohen that she felt disturbed by the situation. “It’s strange to see a TV series based on tough parts of my life when I’m right here,” she explained. Anderson also mentioned that Rogen sat very near her during the show, making the experience even more awkward.
Let me tell you, talking to Anderson, she seemed genuinely thrown. She described this odd, unsettling feeling that just came out of nowhere. It’s funny, considering how much she’s been working lately, filming movie after movie, you’d think she’d be used to everything. But she put it simply – ‘It just felt a little yucky.’ And honestly, beneath the frustration, there was a hint of hope that maybe, just maybe, Seth Rogen would reach out. She admitted it might not fix things, but she’d still like to hear from him.
Cohen thought an apology could be meaningful for her, and Anderson acknowledged the situation remains difficult. She discussed how public figures are frequently told they don’t deserve privacy, but she firmly believes very personal experiences shouldn’t be exploited for entertainment. “Your most private struggles or painful moments shouldn’t be turned into a TV show,” she explained, adding that the series centered on what she considers the most challenging time of her life.
The actress also admitted that award shows often make her feel uneasy. She explained that she usually feels like an outsider at these events and prefers to avoid arguments. Although she didn’t talk to Seth Rogen, she confessed to mentally rehearsing what she would say to him while she was in the audience.
Even with everything that’s happened, Anderson is focused on moving ahead. She wants to avoid getting stuck in the past, and keeps reminding herself that there are more pressing issues to worry about.
Pamela Anderson has previously discussed the series Pam & Tommy. In her Netflix documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, she expressed her frustration that the filmmakers didn’t ask for her consent. She’s also stated she doesn’t want to watch the show, which dramatizes her relationship with Tommy Lee and the infamous 1990s tape leak. As she told Entertainment Tonight, “I have no desire to watch it.”
Andy Cohen’s full interview with Pamela Anderson is set to air on SiriusXM on January 20.
