As a dedicated gamer, I’ve just learned some exciting news about OnlyFans – the popular content-sharing platform. According to Variety, Tim Radvinsky, one of its key figures, is currently in talks with Forest Road Co., a group of investors, regarding the sale of OnlyFans. Interestingly, Forest Road was previously involved in a special purpose acquisition company that was considering an Initial Public Offering (IPO) for OnlyFans back in 2022. However, it seems like those plans have taken a different turn as a source close to the situation has confirmed that an IPO is not currently on the table.

So far, nothing further has been definitively confirmed, but Variety mentions that the discussions aren’t confined to one topic or tied to any specific deadline.

Initially, articles published in the New York Post suggested that Radvinsky was struggling to find a purchaser because of the site’s content. Additionally, it was speculated that he was seeking to sell the platform for an estimated price ranging from 1.46 billion to 2.42 billion US dollars.

According to Variety’s latest report, OnlyFans generated a staggering $6.63 billion USD in revenue by the close of its fiscal year ending in 2023. This revenue was largely distributed among its creators, totaling an impressive $5.32 billion USD. The platform hosted approximately 4.12 million content creators and boasted over 300 million registered users during this period.

Initially, OnlyFans was established back in 2016 by Tim Stokely. Later on, in the year 2018, Radvinsky purchased an impressive 75% ownership of Fenix International Ltd., the company that owns OnlyFans.
