The creators of the One Piece anime surprised fans at New York Comic Con 2025 with a first glimpse of the upcoming Elbaf Arc.
As a huge One Piece fan, I was so excited when the latest key visual dropped! It shows the Straw Hats decked out in outfits specifically designed for Elbaf, the Land of the Giants, and they *look* amazing. The color schemes – Luffy with red, Sanji in blue, Zoro in green – were actually teased way back in the cover art for Volume 111, which came out in March. It’s cool to finally see those hints come to life!
The image quickly became popular on social media, with accounts like @pewpiece helping to share it with their followers worldwide.

I was so excited to finally see a preview of Episode 1146! It was delayed a couple of weeks, but it’s now scheduled to come out on October 19, 2025. From what I saw, the episode covers chapter 1112 of the manga, and it looks like we’re going to see Luffy using one of his awesome moves while fighting the Five Elders. Apparently, those Elders have come to the island specifically to stop Luffy and capture Vegapunk – things are really heating up!
Just when it seemed the Straw Hats were trapped, Dorry and Brogy, the giant pirates they befriended in the Little Garden Arc, unexpectedly showed up to help. Fans have been waiting for this reunion ever since Luffy and the giants vowed to meet again in Elbaf.
Even though the story arc with Egghead is still finishing up, the anime is now heading towards its climax, starting with Episode 1147 which introduces Vegapunk’s broadcast. Fans are expecting the next big arc, focusing on Elbaf, to begin next year, and have been waiting for it ever since Luffy first met the Giants.
Elbaf is a crucial location in the Final Saga, filled with dangerous opponents, challenging fights, and many unanswered questions.
