
Netflix announced that the critically acclaimed black comedy crime film, Caught Stealing, will be available to U.S. viewers starting November 29th.

Directed by Darren Aronofsky, the movie features Austin Butler as a washed-up baseball player working as a bartender. His peaceful existence is shattered when helping a neighbor leads him into a world of crime in New York City.

The film features a talented cast including Regina King, Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D’Onofrio, Benito Martínez Ocasio (Bad Bunny), Griffin Dunne, and Carol Kane. The story comes from Charlie Huston’s novel, which he also turned into the movie’s script.
Sony launched the movie in cinemas on August 29th. It started strong with $1.2 million from preview showings on Thursday and then made $9.6 million during the Labor Day weekend. By the beginning of October, the film had grossed $32 million globally. The music was composed by Rob Simonsen and featured the British band Idles.
