Marvel Zombies returns with a fresh trailer, building excitement for the forthcoming four-episode animated special arriving on Disney+ on September 24th.
A Four-Part Event on Disney+
Marvel has announced that the limited series “Marvel Zombies” will be available for streaming, releasing all four episodes simultaneously.
The series delves deeper into the narrative initially presented in “What If…?” and further explores the zombie theme within the Marvel universe. In this instance, Blade, Scarlet Witch, Shang-Chi, and additional heroes find themselves center stage, navigating their roles as survivors amidst a disease outbreak.
The New Trailer
The latest footage leans into the darker tone.
The storyline hints, “Everyone’s vulnerability is imminent,” yet assures us of an epic struggle to be remembered for centuries. The trailer escalates with the bold statement, “This is not a night for surrender,” followed by an emphatic exclamation, “No!” as our heroes engage in fierce combat with hordes of undead creatures. Rapid edits display Blade at the forefront, joined by familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in intense skirmishes.

Returning MCU Talent
In this film, we’ll see some of the most renowned characters from Marvel making an appearance. Returning to the role is Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Hailee Steinfeld will voice Kate Bishop, Elizabeth Olsen reprises her part as Scarlet Witch, and Simu Liu returns as Shang-Chi. Paul Rudd joins in with Ant-Man, Tessa Thompson portrays Valkyrie, Wyatt Russell takes on John Walker, and Iman Vellani once again plays Ms. Marvel. In place of Mahershala Ali, Todd Williams voices Blade in this production.
Mature Rating
The “Marvel Zombies” series on Disney+ is the first to receive a TV-MA rating among Marvel’s lineup, signifying a departure from the more moderate tone seen in other productions like “Moon Knight,” which was rated TV-14, indicating it ventures further into mature and graphic content.
Release Date
Marvel Zombies premieres September 24, 2025, streaming exclusively on Disney+.
