To mark the 23rd anniversary of one its boldest creations, Nissan GB has revamped the mid-engined Micra 350SR with a modern restoration. This vehicle was first built in 2002 by combining a Micra K12 body and a 3.5L V6 engine from the Nissan Murano, equipped with 350Z headers and NISMO enhancements – now, this unique model is back, sporting a fresh appearance, advanced technology, and new components.

The Micra 350SR, a vehicle still capable of producing nearly 300 horsepower while weighing only 1,200 kilograms, was developed by the team responsible for Nissan’s success in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) during the 1990s. Although it has been seen at various events and featured in media over the years, the approaching MICRA EV and the 2025 anniversary that signifies “Ni-San” (a reference to the Japanese pronunciation of 2-3) have prompted a modern update for the 350SR.

Nissan Design Europe took charge of the restomod project, giving it a sleek satin silver livery, black accents, and contemporary design elements that reflect Nissan’s latest styling philosophy. Exterior LED lighting and rejuvenated 18-inch RAYS wheels complete the facelift. Inside, there are upgraded racing seats, harnesses, and a fresh 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for user-friendly modern technology.

2025’s revamped Micra 350SR makes its grand entrance during the SMMT Test Day at Millbrook, marking a return to the very same asphalt it initially touched twenty years prior.
