I just got word that Nike’s jumping on the sneaker loafer bandwagon with their Air Max Phenomena model. This week, they unveiled a new design, and it looks like another collaboration with Serena Williams and her crew. The second colorway of this model is a “Pearl Pink” beauty, if you ask me! As a gamer who loves sneakers, I can’t wait to see more from this lineup.

In our initial analysis, we found that the Air Max Phenomena is constructed on the sole of the Air Max Sunder, a shoe from 1999 which was re-released for its 25th anniversary last year and has been generating buzz ever since. A glossy purple color adorns the mudguard, followed by a gentle pink hue on the upper made of textured leather. A small black Swoosh is positioned at the midfoot strap, while SWDC branding appears on the heel tab and the sockliner features an intricate pattern.

Currently, there’s no announced release date for the Air Max Phenomena by Nike.
