Nike Reveals Ja Morant’s Latest Signature Shoe

Ja Morant and Nike have unveiled a brand-new sneaker model – the Nike Ja 3. This marks Morant’s third signature shoe from Nike, boasting a completely innovative design.

Enhancing the Ja 3 model, the design of its textual upper showcases an enlarged version of Ja’s distinctive logo monogram. Crafted using a lightweight mesh material, this feature ensures increased breathability as well as a smooth transition into a rubber cupsole boasting a vertical scratch pattern. This pattern serves a functional purpose by eliminating layers and enhancing ventilation within the upper mesh. The shoe also showcases rubber logos on its outsole, along with an innovative bulldog micro traction pattern, paying tribute to Ja’s signature bulldog crossover moves on the court. Sitting atop a transparent rubber cupsole is a midsole made of a composite material that includes full-length ZoomX foam layered over ZoomX scrap, offering both responsiveness and comfort catering to various levels of explosive play.

Ja Morant expressed his thoughts about his latest shoe: “I told the Nike designers that my third signature shoe should speak to me before I even tie it on. I wanted this shoe to reflect my game and my personality. I urged them to be bold, to push boundaries, and to make it rugged and unique.” He further stated, “I’m reading the game better now – adjusting when necessary and seizing opportunities when they present themselves. The Ja 3 shares that balance. It provides speed when needed, control when I need to shift gears.” About the sensation of wearing the Ja 3s, Morant said, “When you slip on the Ja 3, I want you to feel fearless. Be confident enough to write your own story – on and off the court. Just be yourself, bold and proud. That’s who I am – no boundaries, no hesitation, just go.

In the first game of the NBA Playoffs, a matchup between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder, Moran unveiled the “Max Volume” version of the Ja 3 shoes. These shoes are anticipated to hit the market from this coming fall onwards.
