Nigel Sylvester Readies "Brick By Brick" New Era Collab

After 10 months filled with anticipation and speculation, BMX pro Nigel Sylvester‘s Air Jordan 4 “Brick By Brick” is just two days from its official launch. Joining this much-awaited event is New Era, who have teamed up with the renowned biker to create a “Brick By Brick” 59FIFTY collection.

The collection of custom-fitted hats offers two color schemes reminiscent of New York City’s beloved baseball teams: a black design for the Yankees and a brick red style representing the Mets. Each hat showcases the “Brick By Brick” branding on one side, while an interior tag bears a quote from Sylvester that reads, “I built this Brick by Brick.

In other words, the new “Brick By Brick” 59FIFTY collection from The New Era will be released simultaneously with the “Brick by Brick” Air Jordan 4 shoes and clothing pieces on March 14.

In a recent conversation, Sylvester elaborated on the meaning behind his nickname “Brick By Brick”: “As you navigate through New York City, you’ll notice the distinctive reddish-orange bricks everywhere. They adorn our buildings, institutions, schools, parks, and plazas. They are omnipresent in the architectural and visual tapestry of this city. Being a BMX street rider who has spent my life riding around New York City, I have a deep personal connection to this color and symbol, one that resonates with many people from this urban jungle.
