As someone who has followed both Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion’s careers with great interest, I must say that the latest development between these two artists is as intriguing as it is unexpected. The recruitment of Kelsey Harris, Megan’s former best friend and a figure deeply entwined in the Tory Lanez shooting incident, to promote Nicki’s shoe line with LØCI certainly adds another layer to their ongoing feud.

From the ongoing feud between Nicki and Megan, it’s clear that Kelsey was no accidental choice for promoting her shoe line. The rappers have been at odds since around 2021, taking their disputes to music, where they respectively released tracks like “Hiss” by Megan and “Big Foot” by Nicki.

Regarding Kelsey, known as Kelsey Nicole, she was in a sports utility vehicle along with Megan and Tory Lanez. It was Tory Lanez who shot a rapper (identified as the victim) in the feet during this incident. This event took place in 2020 while they were driving around together within Los Angeles.

Ultimately, Megan implicated Kelsey for accepting bribe money from Tory to keep quiet about certain events. Later on, in 2023, Tory was found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon and received a 10-year prison sentence without the chance of parole due to this crime. However, Kelsey claimed she couldn’t explain why her relationship with Megan deteriorated.
