When people think of comic book heroes, Marvel and DC usually come to mind, but who’s the most memorable character outside those two companies? We think it’s Hellboy from Dark Horse Comics. Created by Mike Mignola in 1994, this demon-turned-investigator for the B.P.R.D. has even starred in several films, including a couple of fan favorites directed by Guillermo del Toro. This year, Dark Horse is celebrating Hellboy’s 32nd anniversary with a special “Hellboy Day” and a new, limited-edition skateboard.
