New Beyoncé album: Everything you need to know about ‘Cowboy Carter’

Almost time now for Beyoncé enthusiasts to savor fresh tracks from your beloved artist! If you’re both a Beyoncé devotee and a country music aficionado, consider yourself fortunate. The upcoming album titled “Cowboy Carter” will feature Beyoncé singing numerous country melodies.

This week, Beyoncé hinted at the song titles for her upcoming album, and there are 27 of them, suggesting there will be 27 songs in total. That seems like a lot for any album, particularly a country one. However, given that Beyoncé’s distinctive style will undoubtedly permeate all the tracks, this record is expected to be a fully-fledged country album as well.

Beyoncé will perform a cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene”, and also team up with country icon Willie Nelson for a duet on “Smoke Hour”. Two tracks, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages”, have already been released from the upcoming album “Cowboy Carter“. It’s clear that these songs belong to the genre of country-pop.

Everything we know about Beyoncé’s new album, Cowboy Carter

The album is set to drop on March 29th, and the artwork for the tracks hints at a lengthier album “Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit”. It’s possible that Beyoncé is playing around with the extended title, but if it’s the official name, it’s likely to be shortened by many to just “Cowboy Carter”.

On Beyoncé’s Instagram post, there doesn’t seem to be a definite arrangement of the tunes, however, if we presume that every item listed is a track, they appear to be:
