Netflix has dropped the official trailer for the seventh season of Black Mirror.
In the sneak peek for Charlie Brooker’s science fiction anthology series, we catch another takeoff of the USS Callister. This upcoming season brings back characters from Black Mirror, like Cristin Milioti and significant figures from Season 4’s “USS Callister” Episode 1. They are depicted as still navigating their virtual odyssey with Milioti portraying Nanette Cole again, a timid computer programmer who finds herself trapped in a video game alongside her forceful boss Robert Daly, played by Jesse Plemons, against her will. Additionally, we see Billy Magnussen reprising his role as Karl, Milanka Brooks as Elena, and Osy Ikhile as Nate.
Apart from these previously introduced actors, several newcomers have been added to the cast: Michele Austin, Ben Bailey Smith, Asim Chaudhry, Josh Finan, James Nelson-Joyce, Will Poulter, Jay Simpson, and Michael Workéyè. In different episodes of Season 7, we will also see Awkwafina, Peter Capaldi, Emma Corrin, Patsy Ferran, Paul Giamatti, Lewis Gribben, Osy Ikhile, Rashida Jones, Siena Kelly, Rosy McEwen, Chris O’Dowd, Issa Rae, Paul G. Raymond, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Harriet Walter shine. The series has earned 14 Emmy nominations and won 8 awards, with Season 7 set to debut on April 10th.
