Netflix has unveiled the launch schedule along with a fresh sneak peek for the much-awaited fifth and final season of “Stranger Things”. This emotional farewell to the cherished show will unfold in three separate installments, set to debut towards the end of November and December 2025.

At the Netflix Tudum 2025 event, they dropped a fresh sneak peek that had me hooked! It hints at the epic final battle we’ve all been waiting for, blending snippets from past seasons with tantalizing glimpses of intense clashes in the Upside Down. Characters I know and love like Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, and Noah Schnapp are gearing up for the battle to end all battles.

The narrative unfolds in autumn 1987, about 18 months following Season 4. After the Rifts’ emergence, Hawkins has endured significant hardships. The main characters join forces with a common objective: locating and defeating Vecna who mysteriously vanished. The town is under a military lockdown, making life difficult for Eleven as the government intensifies its search for her, forcing her into hiding. All key cast members will reappear, including David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Sadie Sink, and Maya Hawke. Jamie Campbell Bower is coming back as Vecna, while Linda Hamilton has joined the cast for an unspecified role.
